Who we are

ForefrontUSA is an organization that funds and publishes educational and advocacy projects. This site is operated by Carter Steinhoff. When this policy says “we” or “ForefrontUSA,” it refers to the organization and its operator.

What we collect

We collect personal information only when you provide it directly:

• Contact form: name, email address, topic, and message.
• Project applications: name, email, portfolio URL, location, availability, experience details, and professional consent.
• Donations: email address and donation amount. Payment card details and billing address are collected and processed entirely by Stripe and never touch our servers.

How we use your data

• Contact form submissions are used to respond to your inquiry.
• Application data is used to evaluate candidates for project commissions.
• Donation records are used to track aggregate funding totals. We do not use your email for marketing unless you separately opt in.

How we store your data

Form submissions and donation records are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted with our infrastructure provider. Data is retained indefinitely unless you request deletion.

Third parties

The only third-party service that receives your personal data is Stripe, which processes all donations. Stripe collects your email, billing address, and payment information under their own privacy policy.

We do not use analytics tracking, advertising pixels, or marketing integrations on this site.

Cookies

This site uses a single local storage entry to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). No tracking cookies or third-party cookies are used.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Contact us using the contact form and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a revised date. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without notice.
